Data Analyst Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining critical operational and inventory data while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of company records. This role combines data management, reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enter and maintain transaction, inventory, and operational records with a high level of accuracy.
  • Process purchase, transfer, shipment, and inventory-related data.
  • Reconcile monthly records and expenses, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support month-end reporting activities through data validation and analysis.
  • Review large data sets to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Investigate variances and work independently to determine root causes and corrective actions.

Data Analyst Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, accounting support, inventory administration, or a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Filtering and sorting data
    • Find and Replace functions
    • Working with multiple file formats
    • Basic formulas and lookup functions
