POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Analyst will develop and manage reporting solutions that support multiple business functions at AirLife, with a strong commercial focus including sales operations, pricing, marketing, and finance. This role will place emphasis on project management across the data analytics team, as well as delivering individual analytics projects of their own. Key responsibilities will include reconciling distributor tracings, contracts, and GPO affiliations to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and compliance across systems. Beyond reporting, the role will drive process improvement initiatives through optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and data reliability across commercial workflows.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • SQL data modeling in a relational database.
  • Power BI report development and deployment.
  • Experience working with AI as a tool to increase efficiency.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Reconciling distributor sales and rebates for different mixes of GPOs and contracts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Excel.
  • Establishes good working relationships with business users and other analysts to support the overall AirLife reporting culture.
  • Understanding general business processes and how reporting/automation can contribute to accurate decision making and increased efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Level of Experience:

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R or other programming tools.
  • Experience with project management lifecycles.
  • Experience with general business processes, requirements gathering and report building.

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred.

Travel:

  • Less than 10%.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and maintains reporting for key business users, primarily through Power BI and Excel. This includes being part of the entire report development process from requirements gathering, data modeling, development, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Project manage key data analytics initiatives by leading requirements gathering, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, and delivering solutions.
  • Find opportunities to help business users and increase efficiency throughout the business.
  • Understand and communicate with business users about new and existing reports, general AirLife data and AirLife business processes.
  • Works as an SME of our data and tools to help inform business users on options and best practices to support their functions.
