Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Detail designated vehicles in the detail shop, keeping accurate records of duties performed.

What We Need From You (Requirements)

  • Vacuums, shampoos, and applies fabric/leather/carpeting conditioners as needed
  • Waxes, polishes, buffs, and applies exterior paint sealant as needed
  • Air dries around moldings and door handles to prevent water runoff and spotting
  • Applies deodorizing treatments as required
  • Accurately and truthfully records/documents all activities as required
  • Maintains a clean work area and adequately manages clean-up chemicals/supplies by keeping them orderly and labeled.
  • Washes and folds work towels
  • Removes trash from the work area daily
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Washes/cleans all vehicles thoroughly, including under-hood components, trunks, rear compartments, inside gas doors, fender wells, truck beds, tires, wheels, windows, dashes, interior panels, headliners, door jambs and sill plates, cup holders, and under seats.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and can meet motor vehicle report standards
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Effective organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to demonstrate ethical behavior
  • Prior detailing experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to work in varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
