Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate to join our New Business team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record at creating impactful materials and great client skills. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media trends, influencer marketing, along with the ability to translate these insights into compelling pitch materials for new business. Previous experience at an ad agency, talent agency, or media company is a plus. This role will sit under the Director of New Business, and act as a liaison between clients and the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pitch and Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations for new business opportunities. Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between agency capabilities and client needs, with a strong emphasis on social media, influencer marketing, and experiential activations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, strategy, influencer, and social teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution. Help ensure our services are clearly communicated and consistently delivered.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform business development strategy and identify new opportunities, with a particular focus on social media and experiential marketing trends. Prepare and send weekly reporting to SLT.
  • Deal Tracking: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in Monday, including all deal stages, notes, and activity tracking.
  • Contracts and Redlines Management: Coordinate with Director and GC to develop client agreements, manage redlines, and ensure finalized documents are properly stored and ready for review.
  • Client Onboarding: Lead new client onboarding to ensure a smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted transition into the agency workflow.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or a related role within a digital marketing, ad agency, or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in Monday.com, CreatorIQ, CreatorCore, Canva, Brandwatch, and G-Suite.
  • Strong understanding of social media, influencer marketing, and music/entertainment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous organization skills and attention to detail.
