Job description

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is looking to hire a Logistics Specialist I in Sparks, NV.


Pay Rate Range: $18–$22/hour W2, depending on experience


Responsibilities:

  • Track inventory and maintain accurate records using internal systems.
  • Process and validate inventory and billing information.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and ticketing systems to manage daily logistics tasks.
  • Receive, sort, scan, and stow deliveries and materials.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and pickups.
  • Assemble and prepare shipments.
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and documentation throughout daily logistics operations.


Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and computer-based systems required.
  • Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is strongly preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Reliable attendance and stable work history preferred.
  • Ability to complete mandatory training during the first two weeks, including OSHA 10, required badge testing, and in-person safety orientations.
  • Ability to work in a 7-day operation, with schedules that may include Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.
  • Flexibility to work shifts such as 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with potential 4x10 schedules.
