Description:
Seeking a Neurointerventionalist Locum for an immediate need.
Dates of coverage are from September 10 to September 15.
This role involves 100% inpatient and emergency department coverage.
You will handle inpatient consults and provide 24/7 call coverage.
The call ratio is solo.
Average call-back hours per day are around 2.
The reason for coverage is to accommodate vacations.
The practice setting is hospital-based, focused on adult and geriatric patient populations.
This position will not include outpatient services, with an average patient load of 5 to 10 patients per day.
The facility is a Level One Trauma and thrombectomy-capable stroke center.
Required duties include inpatient and emergency department consultations on neurovascular patients.
Additional responsibilities include performing stroke thrombectomies, aneurysm embolizations, diagnostic carotid angiograms, and carotid stenting.
Documentation will be conducted using Epic EMR.
