Job description

Full Job Description

Justin Price Insurance Agency in Jonesville is hiring an Agent in Training/Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Our insurance agency is located in Jonesville, and we provide Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and Business insurance to help protect our clients and their assets. This is an opportunity for someone who wants a long term career in insurance sales with real upside.

Come work with an agency owner who was trained and produced inside one of the top performing Farmers agencies in the state.

I didn’t learn this business from theory or manuals, I learned it by producing in a high accountability, high output environment. I know what it takes to win in this business because I’ve done it. Now I’m building my own agency with the same standards.

Our Culture:

We have a competitive culture where winning together is the standard. We believe that when employees and customers both succeed, everyone wins. We expect a lot from ourselves and each other. We also support one another and work together to create an enjoyable, growth focused work environment.

Compensation:

We reward strong performance. This position offers a base salary, commission, and bonuses. Our pay structure gives great performers the opportunity to earn an exceptional income.

Career Growth Plan:

We are always developing future leaders. Every team member is encouraged to grow, improve, and take on new challenges. Advancement is not just possible here, it is expected.

This is an Agent in Training role designed for someone who wants a long term career in insurance sales.

Benefits for the insurance sales Agent:

  • Very competitive base salary (most competitive in the Jonesville area)
  • Very competitive commission structure
  • Training/coaching provided
  • Spotify subscription provided
  • Bonus incentive based on individual/agency performance
  • Paid time off - personal time and holidays
  • Career growth/advancement development

frequently asked questions and answers that we get about our career opportunity:

What kind of training will I receive?

We invest in our team members to help them succeed and achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals. You will receive direct coaching, product training, and sales training designed to help you grow into a successful producer.

Is prior insurance sales experience required?

No. You do not need to know insurance or have prior insurance sales experience to apply. We provide the training you need to succeed.

What is the culture like in your company?

We have a competitive culture where we expect a lot from ourselves and each other. At the same time, we support one another and work together to create an enjoyable, growth focused environment.

What would my career growth plan look like?

This role is designed to help the right person grow into a fully licensed producer with real long term opportunity in insurance sales and advance within our organization and take on leadership roles.

Will I have to purchase my own leads?

Absolutely not. We provide the leads. Our salespeople do not have to pressure their friends or family for business.

Is this a commission only position?

Absolutely not. Our compensation plan is very rewarding. We offer a base salary with uncapped commissions and attractive bonuses.

What can I reasonably expect to make in the first year?

If you follow our sales process, at the very least you can expect to make $50,000 in your first year with your base salary, commission, and bonuses.

Why this Agency?

You’ll be coached by someone who has already operated at a high level, not someone learning as they go. If you want to win, I will show you how!
