Tenet Healthcare and DMC Medical Group are seeking a fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon to join a well-established, multi-site neurosciences program in Detroit. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a high-impact spine practice within a fully integrated system, supported by robust infrastructure, a dedicated team, and an academically oriented environment. The position is ideal for a neurosurgeon ready to lead in a collaborative setting that welcomes research and upholds excellence.

Practice Info

  • Specialty: Spinal Neurosurgery with a mix of General Neurosurgery and spine-based procedures
  • Primary Practice Site: DMC Neurosurgery Clinic, downtown Detroit at Harper Hospital
  • Hospital Privileges: All 5 DMC facilities, including Level I and II Trauma Centers and tertiary care referral centers
  • Technology: PACS on-site, hospital-attached for seamless access
  • Support: Robust ancillary staff, in-house billing, coding, collections, and marketing support
  • Research: Participation welcomed within an academically oriented neurosciences program

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery
  • Completion of an accredited spine-based fellowship required
  • Active Michigan medical license, or willingness to obtain
  • 3-5 years of post-training clinical experience
  • No visa sponsorship available
