Compensation: $3,000 per Evaluation

NYC Behavior Specialists is a multidisciplinary practice providing high-quality services to children, adolescents, and families throughout New York. Our team includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Special Educators, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and related service providers dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals with developmental, behavioral, and learning needs.
Position Overview
NYC Behavior Specialists is seeking a licensed Neuropsychologist to conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations on a per diem basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician seeking flexible scheduling while working with a diverse pediatric population.
The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating children and adolescents presenting with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning deficits, emotional and behavioral challenges, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, executive functioning, adaptive behavior, and social-emotional assessments.
  • Prepare detailed neuropsychological reports with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
  • Participate in feedback sessions with families to review findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including BCBAs, educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and related professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Neuropsychology.
  • Licensed Psychologist in New York State.
  • Specialized training and experience in pediatric neuropsychological assessment.
  • Strong report writing and clinical communication skills.
  • Experience evaluating autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and related developmental conditions preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage evaluation timelines efficiently.
