Neurointerventional Radiologist (Interventional Neuroradiology / Stroke Intervention)

Join LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, Maryland as a Neurointerventional Radiologist supporting a comprehensive stroke program. Provide high-acuity endovascular stroke interventions including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, and diagnostic angiography within a leading thrombectomy-capable stroke center. This role supports our system but is based out of Sinai in Baltimore which specializes in comprehensive stroke care.

This facility specializes in comprehensive stroke care and maintains advanced neurointerventional radiology capabilities. The facility operates with continuous coverage models and maintains state-of-the-art equipment for complex neurological procedures. Staff support includes dedicated APP coverage and specialized neurology teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Position Details:

  • 183 days a year which can be arranged as alternating weeks (one on/one off)
  • The clinician will provide 24/7 neurointerventional stroke call coverage, maintaining availability to reach the hospital within 30 minutes when called. Responsibilities include performing complex interventional procedures for stroke patients such as thrombectomies, diagnostic angiograms, coilings, stents, and AVM embolizations.

Required qualifications:

  • MD from an Accredited Medical School
  • Successful completion of a fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgery or Neurology with a fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology.
  • Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions and current (or obtainable) DEA license
