Job Description
The Division of Neurology at Carilion Clinic is seeking an additional neurologist with fellowship training in MS/Neuroimmunology to join our growing program. The successful candidate will have completed a residency in Neurology and be certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. A fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and/or Neuro-immunology is preferred. The candidate will have a strong interest in Multiple Sclerosis as well as General Neurology. The position will include clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities.
Based in Roanoke, Virginia, Carilion Clinic is an award-winning, community-based network of seven hospitals, primary and specialty physicians practices, and is affiliate with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Fralin Biomedical Research Institute (FBRI). We work together to provide quality care close to home for nearly 1 million Virginians. With an enduring commitment to the health of our region, we also seek to advance care through medical education and research, help our community stay health and inspire our region to grow stronger.
• Outpatient only or combination of inpatient and outpatient
• 100% MS volume, for those that are interested
• Infusion center on site. Currently, we are prescribing approximately 500 infusions per year. There is a dedicated team for prior authorization of infusion and nursing support.
• Academic appointment at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
• Opportunity for research, clinical trials and teaching ( FM, IM, Psych, Neurology and Neurosurgery Residents) as well as leadership opportunities.
• H1B and J1 visa support available

• Competitive salary: 260-280K based on experience; up to 20% of base salary in quality and outcomes incentives
