Neuro Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will undertake various responsibilities aimed at delivering comprehensive care, including but not limited to:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy, focusing on a systems-based approach that encompasses the entire family dynamic.
• Assessing and developing treatment plans for clients experiencing issues such as grief and loss, family conflict, job stress, and more.
• Utilizing effective therapeutic techniques to address specific concerns such as communication difficulties and blended family adjustments.
• Engaging in collaborative treatment planning with other professionals within the organization to ensure holistic approaches to patient care.
• Documenting therapy sessions accurately and maintaining compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Participating in regular team meetings and trainings to enhance clinical skills and stay current on best practices in behavioral health.

As a therapist at Neuro Behavioral Center, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including couples, families, adults, and adolescents. Our patient population may deal with various challenges, such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
• Experiences of abuse, both physical and psychological.
• Grief, loss, and adjustment difficulties related to separation and divorce.
• Interpersonal conflicts within families, including sibling rivalries and parent-child communication challenges.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A passion for patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Ideal candidates will possess experience in behavioral healthcare, particularly in family and marital therapy contexts. Previous work with a broad spectrum of familial issues will be viewed favorably. Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and create specific treatment strategies is essential.
