Job description

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist with strong neuro experience seeking a contract role. You'll support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a dynamic imaging environment, working alongside an expert medical team to deliver the highest quality patient care.
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • 9-10 days of on-call coverage per month
  • Availability required during the week of 12/29
Qualifications:
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Proven experience as an IR Tech, including significant time in neuro-interventional procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of imaging equipment and sterile technique
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologists in performing complex neuro-interventional procedures under sterile conditions
  • Operate imaging equipment according to protocols, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and compassionate support
  • Monitor patient status, documenting and reporting any changes to the care team
  • Adhere to strict safety and infection control standards throughout all procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly and effectively as needed
  • Maintain accurate procedure records and communicate collaboratively with fellow professionals

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
