What you'll do
The successfulcandidatewill primarily be responsible for:
• Play an active role asa contributing member of a Technical Services DeliveryTeam
• Respond to requests fortechnical assistance via phone, chat, or email
• Diagnose and resolvetechnical issues remotely
• Log all customersinteractions in our ticket management system
• Assist with complexsupport requests/issues via escalation from Tier 1 supportagents
• Follow incidentsthrough to resolution while also providing regular updates tocustomers on their support requests
• Providing customerswith support for corporate owned assets (primarily workstations,laptops, servers), which will include basic help desk support upto advanced troubleshooting.
• This position involvestroubleshooting workstation, networking, storage, and serverissues on a variety of platforms.
These platforms includesupported versions of Microsoft Windows desktop and server OS,Mac OS, MS Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, and basicnetworking problems (Client VPN setup, Network Connectivity viawired/wireless, etc)
• Provide break-fixsupport, such as hardware replacement, operating systemre-installs, virus and malware removal and other hardwaremaintenance
• The ability tocommunicate technical speak to non-technical customers inperson, over the phone, and via email

Requirements:
  • Anextensive amount of experience in basic computertroubleshooting
  • 2+ yearsof experience working in apositionsupporting end-user devices and applications
  • 2+ yearsof experience in Windows AND Mac OSX repairand troubleshooting
  • 1+ yearsof Windows Server configuration, maintenance(patching), troubleshooting,andconfiguration
  • Anunderstanding of Office 365 and Active Directory (Accountcreation, password resets, group and distro list membership,OneDrive for Business, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • 1+ yearsof supporting network devices (Firewalls, switches) and IPconnected hardware
