This position will maintain, monitor, and support our organization's IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and systems that support daily business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve outages to minimize downtime.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across systems (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).

  • Manage and maintain group polices.

  • Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.

  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) including provisioning, scaling.

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Provide tier 2/3 technical support and escalation for end-user issues.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours system emergencies.

  • Other duties as assigned.

On-Call Rotation and After-Hours Support

  • This position participates in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule, with each employee assigned to an on-call period of one week approximately every eight weeks. During the assigned on-call week, the employee must remain available and reachable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and be prepared to respond to and/or troubleshoot critical issues as needed.

  • In addition to the scheduled on-call rotation, employees may occasionally be contacted outside of normal business hours to assist with issues escalated by Help Desk staff. These after-hours contacts may occur on any day and are based on the nature and urgency of the issue.

  • The employee is expected to respond in a timely manner to on-call and after-hours escalations, assess the issue, provide appropriate technical support or troubleshooting, and escalate to additional resources when necessary.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.

  • Experience with virtualization platform Hyper-V.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages PowerShell.

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Experience with Cisco Duo.

PREFERRED:

  • Relevant certifications CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server.

  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.

  • Familiarity Microsoft Intune.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to system reliability and security.

  • Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player.

PHYSICAL, SENSORY & ENVIRONMENTAL:

PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt): $30.42- $37.03

  • All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the STARTING PAY is $30.42 per hour.
