Job Summary:
Dort Financial Credit Union is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their computer systems for both on-premise and cloud solutions. This role involves installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and software, as well as providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities:
• The Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in the management and maintenance of an organization’s computer systems for on premise and cloud solutions.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware and software.
• Apply software updates, patches, and security fixes to ensure systems are up to date.
• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting system issues.
• Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required or 3 or more years of Systems Administration experience.
• Minimum of two years of information system experience with a financial institution.
• Knowledge of personal computer and network systems in a corporate environment including, but not limited to the following: Software applications, Windows operating system, MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
• Must be bondable.
• Must be flexible and able to work unusual and variable hours/schedules including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Must be on call at all times.
• Must be accurate, dependable, and reliable.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of other database and operating systems preferred.
• Excellent judgement, innovative thinking, problem solving, communication and organizational skills preferred.
