Job Summary:
American Savings Bank is seeking a Manager for their Network Administration team. This role involves leading a team to ensure reliable and secure network services while also contributing to the design and architecture of enterprise network solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Leads, mentors, and manages the network administration team to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing network services.
• Oversee 24/7 network operations, ensuring rapid response and resolution of production issues with minimal business impact.
• Establishes and monitors KPIs/SLAs to measure operational effectiveness and continuously improve team performance.
• Serves as a hands-on network architect, contributing to the design and evolution of LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid network environments.
• Collaborates with network engineering teammates with architectural planning for scalability, resilience, and security aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Collaborates with engineering teammates to review and approve network designs, configurations, and changes to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Partners with leadership to define and execute network infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Identifies opportunities for automation, optimization, and modernization of network services.
• Balances short-term operational needs with long-term architectural goals.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in managing network or infrastructure teams in a production environment.
• Proven experience in both network operations leadership and network design/architecture (enterprise-scale preferred).
• Experience leading incident response and driving operational improvements in time-sensitive environments.
• Possesses experience in managing projects to deliver IT solutions in a time-critical manner.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and unify teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with urgency while maintaining quality and strategic focus.
• Deep technical expertise in network architecture (routing, switching, firewalls, cloud networking, etc.).
• Proven ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Commitment to fostering a positive team culture and high employee engagement.
