Job description

Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Networking Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The Senior Networking Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of our networking environment. Qualified candidate must have significant on the job Cisco experience along with related experience in Infrastructure / Networked environments with hardware (routers, switches, firewall, etc.), software (IOS), network security practices, designing, planning and implementing LAN-MAN-WANs using the industry standard technologies.
Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of the network environment.
  • Create operational documentation.
  • Tune current environment for optimal performance.
  • Research value add technologies.
  • Research and Implement network and security solutions.
  • Implement Patching strategy for network devices.

Qualifications
  • Ideal candidate should have at least five (5) years on the job experience in routing and switching in an enterprise environment.
  • Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN / WAN / MAN technologies.
  • Comprehensive hands on experience with Cisco Nexus technologies and Palo Alto next gen firewall platform.
  • Experience with load balancing platforms, preferably F5 LTM and GTM.
  • Hands on experience with Amazon AWS / Transit Gateway / AWS Network Manager / Route Analyzer / CloudWatch (at least one year).
  • Comprehensive Network Architecture experience, including network design, reference architecture and design documentation.
  • Comprehensive hands on experience with modern routing protocols.
  • Experience designing and support hybrid networks leveraging Amazon Direct Connect.

  • Proficiency in infrastructure management and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Python/Shell scripting, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines), as well as experience with cloud networking environments in AWS and Azure, would be considered assets.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $320,000 per year.
