About the role:

We are seeking a Contract Specialist for the management of contracts/agreements within TrojanUV's Commercial business. The Contract Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and helping negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, such as but not limited to sales agreements, distribution agreements, change orders. They will work with in close coordination with the Global Contract Manager, WQ Contracts Managers and business unit leaders and other shared services partners.

As one of our Contract Specialist, you will function as the point of contact between our Regional Sales Managers, Contract Managers, Finance Team and sometimes the End User during the bidding process and PO negotiation to put Trojan in the best competitive position.

This role will be hybrid in London, ON (3 days in office).

Detailed Role Responsibilities

  • Review potential commercial contractual pitfalls and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Provide interpretation of contract language to Regional Sales Managers to enable accurate assessment of technical obligations.
  • Provide professional contractual guidance to team members to ensure the project is executed according to contract requirements.
  • Ensure new order acceptance criteria have been satisfied, obtain approvals from Finance, Legal, Sales, Operations, and others as necessary, ensure alignment, and communicate project execution goals and plans.
  • Assist Finance, Sales, and Project Management to manage, renew and obtain new Performance/Payments/Maintenance bonds, Bank Guarantees, or Letters of Credit as required by contract.
  • Assist Sales and project teams with obtaining necessary insurance certificates and amendments, bonds, letters of credit, and bank guarantees. Manage insurance reviews.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree required.
  • 5+ years of contract sales experience, preferably within a capital organization.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and drive continuous improvement in a complex environment.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, committed to continuous professional development, and willing to travel up to 10%.

  • The compensation range for this role is$75,000 - $90,000 CAD per year. This job is also eligible forbonus pay.
