Associate Veterinarian

Are you a passionate veterinarian looking to grow your career in a supportive, collaborative environment? Coastal Veterinary Care is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team as we prepare to open our doors in Spring 2026.

Coastal Veterinary Care is a brand-new small animal practice located in Swansea, Massachusetts, just minutes from our sister hospital, Mass-RI Veterinary Services. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new hospital from day one while benefiting from the support of an established regional and national network.

Conveniently located near Providence, Rhode Island, and within easy driving distance of Boston, Swansea offers the best of coastal New England livingβ€”charming communities, access to beaches, and plenty of dining, shopping, and outdoor activities.

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality medical care while helping to build a positive, team-oriented culture. You'll collaborate closely with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and hospital leadership to create an exceptional experience for both patients and clients.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals
  • Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication and compassionate care
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
  • Participate in developing protocols and workflows in a new hospital setting
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold ethical standards of care

Why Coastal Veterinary Care?

While final equipment and services are still being finalized, the hospital is being designed with modern veterinary medicine and team efficiency in mind, including:

  • Brand-new facility and equipment
  • Thoughtfully designed treatment and exam spaces
  • Strong technician-to-doctor support model
  • Mentorship opportunities for continued professional growth
  • A schedule designed to support work-life balance
  • Competitive compensation and relocation support available

Network Support

Coastal Veterinary Care is proud to be part of the COVE Animal Health network, providing access to a collaborative community of hospitals, specialists, leadership resources, and continuing education opportunitiesβ€”while still maintaining the feel of a locally driven practice.
