Job description

JOB TITLE: Dordt Media Network Assistant  (High expectation for student workers to be committed to working events throughout the school year)

DEPARTMENT:  Dordt Media Network Department

REPORTS TO: Director of Dordt Media Network

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Produces livestream broadcasts of Defender Athletics and Community Events. Training is provided and students are expected to work late afternoons, evenings and often on Saturdays. Students average about 7 hours of work per week. (Knowledge of sports encouraged)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Each student will be trained in different areas of live broadcast production including:
    • Camera Operation
    • Instant Replay
    • Graphics
    • Directing
  • Technical Directing & Production setup and tear down.
  • Other duties as assigned
