Job Summary:

The role involves providing consultation, technical support, and ensuring compliance with IT security policies while managing network configurations and operational statuses.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure.
โ€ข Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and network configuration.
โ€ข Supports and administers firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
โ€ข Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
โ€ข Reports network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
โ€ข Performs basic configuration of firewalls.
โ€ข Provides remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
โ€ข Provides remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
โ€ข Communicates with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
โ€ข Undertakes data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
