About DMA Industries

Founded in 2008, DMA Industries, LLC has grown into a leading supplier of automotive aftermarket parts across North America. Our success is driven by innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.

As DMA continues to grow and modernize its technology infrastructure across multiple distribution and manufacturing locations, we are looking for a Systems & Network Administrator to join our IT team and play a key role in maintaining, improving, and securing our technology environment.

Position Summary

The Systems & Network Administrator is a hands-on technical role responsible for the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, remediation, and modernization of DMA's server, identity, and network infrastructure across a multi-site distribution and manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the IT Manager, this position will serve as a senior technical execution partner within the IT department. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a legacy environment while helping DMA modernize its infrastructure, reduce technical debt, strengthen security, and establish durable, well-documented operating practices.

This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems, improving systems, and taking ownership of projects from planning through completion.

Key ResponsibilitiesActive Directory & Windows Server
  • Administer and maintain the Windows Active Directory environment, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, replication health, Sites and Services, and related services.
  • Support domain controller lifecycle activities, including clean builds, migrations, promotions, demotions, and FSMO role transfers.
  • Assist with Active Directory security remediation and modernization initiatives, including:
    • End-of-life server retirement

Network Infrastructure & Administration
  • Administer and troubleshoot DMA's multi-site WAN and network infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain a multi-vendor environment including Meraki MX firewalls, UniFi, and Fortinet technologies.
  • Configure and maintain network switching and routing infrastructure, including:

  • Help transition legacy flat networks to appropriately segmented, purpose-specific VLAN environments.
  • Maintain configuration backups, change records, network diagrams, and infrastructure documentation.
  • Follow established change-control procedures for all infrastructure changes.
Security, Patching & Operational Hygiene
  • Administer and support endpoint protection, patch management, vulnerability management, and other infrastructure security initiatives.
  • Assist the IT Manager in maintaining and improving DMA's overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Approach infrastructure changes with an audit-first mindset by appropriately scoping, testing, documenting, and preparing rollback plans before major changes.
  • Maintain strict privileged-access and credential-management standards.
  • Protect sensitive credentials by using DMA's approved credential-management solution.
  • Ensure credentials are never improperly shared, hard-coded, stored in plaintext, or maintained outside approved systems and procedures.
Backup, Disaster Recovery & Automation
  • Support backup and disaster recovery operations across DMA's infrastructure.
  • Understand and apply appropriate recovery methods, including bare-metal, system-state, and domain-controller-safe restoration.
  • Assist with disaster recovery testing and validation to ensure backups can be successfully restored when needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve PowerShell automation to increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Favor read-only data collection and validation before implementing state-changing automation or infrastructure changes.
Documentation, Support & Collaboration
  • Create and maintain technical runbooks, configuration records, network documentation, asset information, and other IT documentation according to DMA standards.
  • Ensure critical knowledge is documented and accessible to the broader IT team rather than residing with a single individual.
  • Provide escalation-level technical support to the Helpdesk team.
  • Mentor and support junior IT team members in systems administration, networking, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, department leaders, and executive leadership.
  • Translate technical issues, risks, and recommendations into clear business terms.
  • Support infrastructure and technology requirements associated with NetSuite ERP, EDI integrations, and other business systems as directed by the IT Manager.

Requirements
