Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer, Inc., one of the fastest growing IT companies in the world is looking for an innovative leader to fill a Staff Solution Engineer position. As a critical member of our system department, the solution engineer is responsible for performing and completing projects to customer's satisfaction in a safe, efficient, and timely manner; performs other duties as required, based out of our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and address critical project issues and help system and engineering teams to resolve the issues efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to achieve the best customer satisfaction
• Provide engineering and technical supports for business development efficiently
• Proactively promote products, seek business opportunities, and provide solutions to meet customer requirements
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required
Qualifications:
• BS or MS with 12+ years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficient in verbal, written and presentation skills
• Demonstrates understanding of how to successfully work in cross-functional teams and impacts to schedules
• Solid understanding of storage system architecture, BIOS, BMC, Storage, Linux is preferred
• Ability to work in a highly interactive, cross-functional collaborative environment
• Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Willing to travel to customers for presenting production solutions and technical supports
Salary Range
$152,000 - $170,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
