Job description

IT Systems & Network Administrator:
As the IT Systems & Network Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware and Network. This includes supporting hardware, server backups, and server security.
Job Requirements:
  • Maintain and support the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems.
  • Implements and maintains firewall policies, VPN configurations, and network access controls while continuously monitoring traffic to detect and mitigate security threats.
  • Administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of operating systems.
  • Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance.
  • Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades.
  • Configure software and resolves technical problems.
  • Monitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by the manager.

Skills or Experience:
  • Computer degree with three or more years of experience providing Level 1 or above help desk support in IT operations.
  • Oral and written communication, professional, and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist customers in person, on phone, and live chat, email, social media, and web form submissions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
