We are looking for a Manager of Network Services and IT Infrastructureto join Kaiser Aluminum. This role will be located at our corporate office in Franklin Tennessee The role will require US/CN domestic travel about fifty percent (50%) of the time.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Network Services and IT Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network and IT infrastructure across the Kaiser Enterprise Network. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Cisco Switching, Fortinet Firewalls/SD-WAN,

and VMWare VCenter or other hypervisor services.

At this time, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role, either now or in the future. Therefore, we cannot move forward with candidates who would require sponsorship and or are on (e.g., H-1B, F-1, STEM OPT, OPT) visas.

What you will work on:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Manage and configure Cisco Switching and Fortinet Firewalls/SD-WAN.
  • Administer VMWare VCenter or other hypervisor services.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service agreements.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.

What you will bring to the role:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in network services and IT infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Switching, Fortinet Firewalls/SD-WAN, and VMWare VCenter or other hypervisor services.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in-office when not traveling.
  • Basic project management skills, including planning, execution, and tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet NSE, VCP).
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
