Job description

Responsibilities
  • Deconfliction with mission partners.
  • Scripting and development experience with Python, SQL, Web Applications, Networking; experience in cyber.
  • Extensive experience serving in a senior network security engineer position or other relevant cyber security position.
  • Resource will work closely with management and provide technical support to a multi-discipline team.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph.
  • Proficiency working in a Linux environment - Debian, Kali, Centos or Ubuntu.
  • Familiar with computer networking technology and terminology (ip addresses, tcp/udp, firewalls, etc.).
  • Experience configuring network devices (eg., routers, switches, etc.).
  • Experience performing network packet inspection, traffic analysis, performance characterization (e.g., Wireshark, TCPdump, etc.).
  • Understanding of network/cyber security, penetration testing and information security practices.
  • Understanding of Linux network security tools - (e.g., Metasploit, netcat, nmap, etc.).
  • Experience using scripting languages for development, modification, automation, parsing data seta and network monitoring (e.g., bash, Perl, Python, etc.).
  • Experience building virtual infrastructure - (e.g., vSphere).
  • Experience in either design, implementation, procurement or maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and developers to engage in joint project planning and execution.

Target Salary Range
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
