Job Description-: The Network Engineering role supports all daily network operational activities delivering, managing, monitoring, and supporting all essential and company network infrastructure. This role will work to identify errors that are often difficult to detect and performs root cause analysis in finding a resolution to problems. This position supports REV’s internet product suite including voice, video, and data, along with day-to-day operation support across all GPON and DOCSIS platforms.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with procedures established by the company on the evaluation of management personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES

Required (All Levels):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a well-rounded technical background
  • Must be able to pass a full background check
  • Real-world network and Data Center Network Operations experience
  • Solid understanding of change management concepts and practices
  • Outstanding ability to perform logical troubleshooting in pressure situations
  • Ability to work in a multi-vendor and multiple-network environment
  • General knowledge of various Linux operating systems
