Job description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Platform team supporting trusted computing and secure video delivery systems. This team builds and operates the core infrastructure that enables secure identity provisioning, authentication, content encryption, and DRM license services used by large-scale global video platforms.
In this role, you will design, deploy, and operate secure, highly available, and scalable distributed systems consumed by millions of users. You will play a key role in driving automation, reliability, and operational excellence across cloud-native environments.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ experience as Site Reliability Engineer
  • Experience with Cloud is mandatory (operations side of Cloud)
  • Strong expertise in Linux systems, operating systems concepts, and networking fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Concourse)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Experience developing and debugging backend services
  • Programming or scripting skills in Go, Python, Java, Bash, or Rust
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate highly available and scalable infrastructure for secure content delivery
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS: EC2, EKS, ALB, IAM, VPC) using Terraform and Ansible
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for reliable and rapid deployments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Concourse)
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and automate operational workflows
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and lead incident response
  • Forecast capacity needs and scale infrastructure to meet traffic growth
  • Enforce security, compliance, and reliability standards across hosting platforms
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations
  • Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
  • Stay current with DevOps, SRE, and content-security best practices

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cryptography and trust primitives (AES, RSA, ECC, X.509, OpenSSL)
  • Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with IP video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and DRM systems (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay)
  • Understanding of HTTP networking and request/response lifecycles
  • Exposure to cloud cost optimization strategies
  • Experience authoring technical specifications or architecture documents
  • Cloud or Kubernetes certifications
  • Master's degree in a related technical field
