Job description

Job Title:  Delivery Lead – Network Infrastructure & Demand Intake

Location: Northborough, MA

Mode : Contract (6+ Months) – Onsite

  • Ability to travel to remote locations
  • Have own vehicle to drive to different locations and support end Users / Mileage will be reimbursed.
  • Will be available on call support during weekends/ holidays as per request.

Job responsibilities:

The Delivery Lead is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end execution of network infrastructure demand from intake through delivery and closure. The role serves as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, platform owners, network engineering teams, project managers, architects, vendors, and delivery partners.

This position is accountable for ensuring demand progresses through governance processes, maintaining delivery reporting and Jira hygiene, managing stakeholder communications, tracking dependencies and risks, and providing visibility into portfolio execution. The role is focused on delivery coordination and operational execution rather than Agile coaching or Scrum facilitation.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Intake & Prioritization

  • Facilitate intake reviews with business stakeholders, architects, platform owners, and engineering teams.
  • Coordinate the collection of business value, scope, requirements, assumptions, and success criteria.
  • Support demand sizing, prioritization, and backlog management processes.
  • Maintain intake records and ensure governance requirements are met.

Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery activities across network engineering, architecture, operations, security, and external vendors.
  • Schedule and facilitate kickoff meetings, status reviews, stakeholder updates, and delivery checkpoints.
  • Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Escalate blockers and drive resolution across multiple teams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary coordination point for business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and key decisions.
  • Manage deployment communications and stakeholder notifications.

Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain delivery dashboards, KPIs, Jira boards, and portfolio reporting.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of demand status from intake through completion.
  • Support quarterly planning, prioritization activities, and leadership reporting.
  • Produce portfolio metrics and executive status summaries.

Financial & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate purchase order requests and vendor engagements.
  • Track procurement activities and hardware delivery milestones.
  • Support invoice reconciliation and closure activities.
  • Assist with budget tracking and cost reporting.

Delivery Closure

  • Confirm business acceptance of delivered solutions.
  • Ensure documentation, reporting, and system updates are completed.
  • Coordinate final project closure activities.
  • Capture lessons learned and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in delivery coordination, project management, service delivery, or PMO functions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, or technology organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of project delivery methodologies and governance processes.
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting network infrastructure, WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, wireless, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, cloud networking, or telecommunications environments.
  • Experience working with engineering, architecture, and operational support teams.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management and demand intake processes.
  • Financial tracking, procurement, or vendor management experience.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, or similar certifications.
