CRAVE Project Manager - Cost Reduction and Value Engineering
 
Onsite: Juno Beach, FL
Client is hiring a Project Manager with engineering experience for the Cost Reduction and Value Engineering Team within the Engineering and Construction business unit.  This position focuses on managing innovative engineering projects from design through implementation that impact our Solar and BESS portfolio.
 
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering projects from design to implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
  • Understanding of engineering design processes, technical specifications, and implementation challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomes
  • Intellectually curious individual who is enthusiastic about problem solving and creative thinking
  • A detail-oriented person with due diligence and research skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced and constantly evolving environments
Desired Qualifications: 
  • Experience with Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects or other Power generation systems
  • Knowledge of project valuation methodologies and financial metrics (NPV, IRR, LCOE)
  • Understanding of utility-scale energy project development
  • Experience with data analysis and analytics is preferred
Role Responsibilities: 
  • Manage engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning and implementation
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to identify product improvements or cost reduction ideas
  • Support implementation by providing technical input and project feasibility assessments
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications
  • Attend industry conferences and network with suppliers and vendors
  • Provide input on process improvements and best practices for project delivery
