Network Engineer II/III will participate in the planning, development, and support of data network technology solutions. The Network Engineer II/III will perform daily & weekly tasks to ensure the availability, performance, health and operations of the data network systems, including network types: WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, Data Center and remote office routers and switches. The engineer assists with the development, implementation, and maintenance of all networking components, ensuring configuration standards and design documentation are completed and archived.
The engineer develops and demonstrates technical and operational understanding of advanced networking responsibilities through day-to-day monitoring of the network management system, trouble ticket management and collaboration with the senior network engineer and security engineers. They Lead small size efforts to include direction of technical teams and drive decisions with moderate supervision. Candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience.

WAN CarrierAdministration:

  • Monitor,Manage andSupportCarrier services Vendors and WAN Services

NetworkAccess ControlAdministration:

  • Manage& administer security defined NAC profiles and policies for authenticationand user access support

General IT Support:

  • Provide technical support to Service Desk and Handle Daily Incidents and Request assigned to Networking.

  • Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals, IP Addressmanagement, Dynamic routingprotocolsand medium types.

  • Strong knowledge ofNetwork Authentication,DNS, and DHCP, NTP

  • Basic understanding and ability toconfigure network equipment connectionsand route/switch protocol standards.

  • Familiarity withvarious networkhardware& operating systemsand troubleshooting.

  • Foundational knowledge of networkinglogic design - RoutingDomains,Switchingand logicalconfiguration.

  • Excellent customer service, communication and collaboration skills.

Our current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary wage range for this position is approximately $76,000 to $90,000 Network Engineer II and $90,000 to $115,000 Network Engineer III based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, educational background and certifications, performance and qualifications, market demand for the role and other organizational needs.
