Position Overview: Seeking a Network Engineer to become part of a highly customer focused team that supports a business-critical network infrastructure. In conjunction with the wider Information Technology team and the key network partners, will be a key element in the operational management of the network infrastructure.

The Network Engineer role is responsible for supporting the core and branch network environment incorporating onsite build, implementation, and maintenance of network hardware and software. As part of a proactive approach the individual will research, analyze, and implement software patches or hardware changes as part of the formal change and patching process. Internal and External Relationships: All members of the organization including branch based As the Company is dedicated to its ambitious goals, it is imperative that he or she be first and foremost a team player.

The successful individual will also possess many critical personal characteristics, including: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written and Oral: The successful individual's communication style should be diplomatic and direct, but not confrontational. He or she must be able to articulate clear, tangible objectives for the organization and can deliver an honest assessment of the level of achievement of those goals. As such, he or she must project the appropriate professional image of the Company. Responsibilities: Manage ticket assignments within the customers IT ticketing system, responding to the priority and urgency of each ticket. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 network support by opening, troubleshooting, and resolving customer and internal tickets.

In alignment with the customers, change management and network patching policies perform critical security and bug patching. Coordinate the network device patching cycle from identification of a software or hardware vulnerability, through the impact analysis and the scheduling and application of required updates. Diagnosing and resolving network issues including congestion, routing changes, hardware failures, and vendor related incidents.

Configure, provision, and maintain the network environment including campus / branch switches, core Layer 3 switches / routers, and SD-WAN services. Monitor network infrastructure, respond to alerts, and ensure issues are addressed within defined SLAs. Maintain the integrity, reliability, and performance of the customer network environment.

Create, update, and improve network support documentation, procedures, and operational processes. Participate in on call rotations and provide after-hours and weekend support as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to plan, research, and design resilient network architectures for IT projects.

Track, escalate, and manage incidents to resolution while providing clear and timely communication to customers. Triage network incidents including hardware replacement (RMA process) working alongside partners and OEM providers. Maintain devices spares in line with the customer standard operating procedures and handling any warranty returns as part of any OEM warranty program.

Maintaining and updating key system and processing documentation. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience performing network support in a corporate enterprise.

Comfortable in dealing with internal IT clients in a professional, patient and customer focused manner Strong collaborative team player that contributes to the overall team mission. Working knowledge of Cisco networking devices (switching, routing and wireless).

Fundamental understanding of Cisco SD-WAN technologies. Problem Solving - Use the problem-solving skills to develop solutions for various IT related issues. Utilize your strong problem saving skills aimed at resolving these problems in a timely manner, all while ensuring the efficient use of the company's resources.

Communication - Demonstrate communication skills to effectively work with and interact with a variety of people. The ability to relate to each customer or colleague in a language they can understand. The communication skills also help you ask the right questions when attempting to resolve a problem.

Teamwork - Will be working in a team setting, where you will collaborate effectively with the teammates, providing them with support and assistance and sharing in collective success as a group. Equipment: Cisco networking products (Nexus 9K's, Catalyst, Cisco ISR's) Software Knowledge: Cisco IOS - specifically around maintaining and backup up production configurations and patching processes around networking devices (following a specific patching process).
