Job description

Agile Decision Sciences (ADS), a wholly owned subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking aย Program Manager to support a Department of War (DoW) Health contract with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War (DASW) Health Affairs (HA).ย ย ย 

Work location: Onsite -- Fairfax, VA

Responsibilities:

Serve as overall Program Manager for successfully executing the contract, including all customer-facing, company facing, and staff (employees and subcontractors) management activities

Perform Project Related Management duties including:

  • Monitoring staff assigned tasks, ensuring performance, and assisting with priority setting
  • Maintaining close relationship with the Contract Officer Representative (COR)
  • Establishing on-site communication cadence with government functional area leaders
  • Preparing all major reporting deliverables, such as Monthly Progress Report (MPR), and Program Management, Quality Assurance and Contingency Plans
  • Preparing all trackers (e.g., staff positions, equipment, security, annual required training)
  • Assisting customer leadership with strategy sessions and staff allocation planning
  • Managing travel approvals and monitoring spend down on all travel expenditures
  • Interpreting contract Performance Work Statement (PWS) for compliance, intent, and scope of work topics

Perform Contract Related Management duties including:

  • On/Off Boarding staff (e.g., company credentials, government network, ID cards)
  • Reviewing and approving staff timesheets on a weekly basis
  • Conducting staff Performance Reviews annually and assist with Goal Setting throughout year
  • Tracking compliance with ASRC required annual training
  • Reviewing and approving company invoices to government customer
  • Managing contract budget and presenting quarterly financial reports to leadership
  • Coordinating with Contracts Department on all contract language requirements, modifications, and option year renewal processes
  • Conducting internal program status reporting to company leadership via weekly and quarterly presentations
  • Performing staff recruiting, including crafting job descriptions, posting openings on Careers site, interviewing candidates and selecting for hire
  • Managing all subcontractor functions, such as contract issuance/compliance and operational relationship

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 yearsโ€™ experience performing as a Program/Project Manager, in a DoW environment
  • Preferred experience working within DASW/HA or DHA environment
  • Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance
  • Ability to successfully pass a Defense Health Agency (DHA) background investigation
