Join a leading global technology company at the forefront of innovation, driving the infrastructure that powers critical operations worldwide. This organization is dedicated to building robust, scalable, and cutting-edge solutions that connect and empower countless users and systems. As a partner with Aquent Talent, you will contribute to projects that are foundational to the company's continued growth and technological advancement.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to spearhead critical network infrastructure deployment initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the physical build-out of advanced network systems across various locations. You will be at the heart of ensuring our infrastructure is robust, reliable, and ready to support the next generation of technological innovation, directly influencing the efficiency and connectivity of our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive building-by-building execution of infrastructure network transitions, utilizing a leading development platform as the single source of truth for all project activities.
  • Maintain and update an integrated deployment tracker, meticulously monitoring building status, cabling progress, hardware readiness, contractor status, engineering preparedness, validation progress, risks, blockers, and migration handoff status.
  • Translate complex survey data, building inventories, port-density information, rack layouts, and cabling requirements into clear, actionable per-building deployment plans.
  • Coordinate all aspects of low-voltage cabling work, including initiating quotes, scheduling contractors, arranging rack and cabinet access, tracking installations, and reviewing completion to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Manage intricate cross-dependencies between various project phases such as cabling, rack/stack, switch installation, power readiness, patching, and engineering configuration.
  • Lead or contribute to comprehensive readiness reviews to confirm that sites are fully installed, patched, powered, configured, and prepared for validation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams on switch configuration, validation requirements, and site-specific technical questions.
  • Coordinate with Building Managers and other internal stakeholders to schedule critical cable-room work and align on readiness and migration timing.
  • Proactively escalate risks and blockers, preparing weekly status summaries that detail completed buildings, active work, upcoming tasks, critical blockers, decisions needed, and potential schedule risks.
  • Continuously refine and optimize the repeatable deployment playbook to facilitate scalable infrastructure expansion beyond initial deployments.
  • Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery, driving program and project schedules and providing status reports.
  • Create and review multiple functional specifications to guide decision-making for product or service implementation.
  • Organize cross-functional activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of proven experience in infrastructure or network deployment project management, with hands-on experience using a leading development platform for execution planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and maintaining the deployment tracker as the single source of truth.
  • 3+ years of in-depth knowledge of structured cabling and physical infrastructure, including industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801, BICSI Standards for ICT) and data center cabling environments.
  • Familiarity with data center components and layouts, such as racks, rows, patch panels, cable management, and power management.
  • Understanding of cabling inventory management, including fiber/copper tracking, patch panel documentation, and labeling standards.
  • Familiarity with various fiber types (single-mode, multi-mode), connectors (LC, SC, MPO), and copper media (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A).
  • 3+ years of strong vendor and contractor coordination experience for physical build-out projects, specifically involving low-voltage cabling quoting, scheduling, access coordination, installation tracking, and completion/readiness review within structured change processes (e.g., ITIL).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret physical network audits and as-built documentation to reconcile discrepancies and identify risks.
  • Experience maintaining physical/logical topology maps and port-level documentation, and working with CMDB / inventory systems to track devices, cabling, and configurations.
  • Strong attention to detail in reconciling physical inventory against logical configuration data.
  • Excellent written communication skills for status reporting, readiness checklists, and handoff packages.
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively across engineering teams, internal stakeholders, Building Managers, and cabling vendors.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Structured cabling or data center certifications (e.g., BICSI, CDCDP) or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • General networking certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS) or equivalent hands-on experience, providing enhanced technical fluency.
  • A recognized Project Management credential (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM) is highly desirable, reflecting a strong focus on execution and governance.
  • Experience with physical network audits and as-built documentation reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with CMDB / inventory systems, IP address management tools, and port-level documentation.
  • Proficiency in data handling using spreadsheet software (formulas, pivots) and a specific query language for data retrieval.
