Landis+Gyr is seeking an experienced Program Manager who will be responsible for overall daily planning and execution of Landis+Gyr service contracts and ownership of client relationship for delivery of new products or solutions as their intoduced from Landis+Gyr. The Program Manager is responsible for all Landis+Gyr customer interface, subcontracts, subsequent new business expansion build out, operations and maintenance of the network related to emerging technologies. The Program Manager is able to effectively interact with all levels of the customer organization to whom Landis+Gyr delivers its services or obtains utility subcontracted services in support of that contract. The Program Manager prepares and submits annual operations budgets, delivers the pro forma revenue stream, supervises on-site personnel and coordinates the activities of sub-contractor and customer personnel assigned to the contract. The role is accountable for customer satisfaction which is driven by strong execution of contract(s) to deploy new technical smart grid solutions for customers. This includes development of project delivery models, analysis and reporting of the financial performance of the program, weekly status reporting, and hands-on management of the efforts of the program team to meet the contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Coordinates all business and programmatic activities in maintaining cost, quality, and schedule parameters for new technologies.
• Leads, directs, and manages the installation, maintenance and performance of the network in accordance with the utility's schedule for economic justification of the project and the Company's fiscal plan.
• Develops, executes and conducts a scheduled periodic review of the deployment and imposes proactive scheduled maintenance and operational tests to ensure system performance.
• Develops topics for and conducts weekly meetings with customers, monthly meetings with corporate headquarters and special meetings as necessary. This demands an ability to de- conflict competing interests and prioritize the efforts of all participants along with necessary fiscal, physical, and personnel resources.
• Manage a large or multiple projects within the scope of a customer account or surrounding region.
• Have oversight responsibilities for matrixed project teams that involve multiple projects and assigned resources.
• Significant time will be spent working closely with internal teams and the customer to develop program schedules, program management plans, deployment plans, materials forecasts and other plans.
• Provide significant leadership and will be seen as a leader and proven mentor as well as someone who is a trusted, collaborative partner with our customers while managing customer expectations as new technology is released.
• Seasoned skills and business acumen to lead strategic and complex programs with little collateral and defined process.
• Is responsible for all personnel actions including the employment and release of personnel in the program management team.
• Is responsible for ensuring that the program remains on schedule, meets all performance metrics established in the contract, and stays within the allocated budget, while assisting the organization in brining technology to the market.
• Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Assists the organization with critical project deliveries, ensuring at risk programs are managed and brought back In alignment.
