CodeMettle is a growing company passionately focused on solving the toughest problems for the most discerning customers. We provide custom software development and integration services for companies in the broadcast, telecommunications and government defense markets. CodeMettle engineers customize, integrate and deploy new installations of CodeMettle software to customers around the world.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale software development and IT projects within the federal market. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing or working on programs with annual budgets exceeding $10M, and an understanding of federal contracting and program management processes. This role is critical to our mission and involves overseeing projects to meet both customer and company goals, managing customer relationships, and driving overall program success.

The Program Manager will manage multiple projects of medium to high complexity level simultaneously adhering to scope, budget and timeline. The Program Manager will also coordinate within other CodeMettle departments to ensure projects are delivered on-time and meet both customer and company goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages complex, multiyear programs with budgets exceeding $10 million, ensuring effective allocation of resources, financial oversight, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develops and monitors program and project progress phases through initial development through implementation.
  • Analyze the economics of a project plan in order to advise stakeholders regarding return on investment and cost benefit analysis.
  • Works directly with Engineering Resource Management to obtain engineering resources for the project.
  • Determines multiple project delivery schedules, maintaining and adjusting schedule as needed during the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Establishes regular cadence review meetings to maintain schedule pace and to provide timely project updates and communications to the customer.
  • Tracks multiple projects, managing short and long-term targets and goals.
  • Manages performance of multiple projects, both customer sided and company sided.
  • Manages scope and deliverables of the project, carefully managing to the deliverables purchased and expected by the customer.
  • Provides upward communication within company to supply project status and gives feedback to Project Managers.
  • Manages PO delivery financial requirements.
  • Facilitates invoicing requirements across multiple projects.
  • Manages multiple projects billing milestones, notifying Finance department of appropriate billing requirements and billing backlog timeline.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance or higher (Required)
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time (Required)
  • Great written and verbal communication skills (Required)
  • At least 7+ years of technical Program Management experience
  • Ability to adapt approach based on the scope and complexities of each project.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence other team members to "buy in" and achieve results.
  • Effective and timely communication to all stakeholders of priorities and progress to date.
  • Able to cultivate the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among all of a project's stakeholders.
  • Skilled at communicating technical concepts to customers as well as internal stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Proactive leadership and communication to motivate, identify problems, and create solutions.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Previous technical background in programming or networking is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software development cycle is a plus.
