Job description


Position Summary
As E2E Planner, you will be responsible and accountable for ensuring stable, leveled production planning and execution that meets customer demand on time while optimizing cash and cost throughout the full 24-month planning horizon. The role works closely with Demand Planners, Customer Desk, Vendor Schedulers, and Warehouse teams to develop and execute production plans while monitoring adherence and reporting performance. This position drives operational excellence to achieve organizational objectives and leads cross-functional coordination to support production plan adherence, timely escalation management, capacity allocation, and manpower planning.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning
  • Coordinate and lead the supply planning process for preparation, release, and monitoring of production plans.
  • Execute all supply planning activities at Americas plants through the o9 Integrated Planning Tool.
  • Ensure coordination of planning activities for Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), demand planning, production planning, and shipping planning.
  • Create and maintain a valid Master Production Schedule (MPS) for materials and capacities by effectively balancing supply and demand to deliver products on time and in full while optimizing cash and cost.
  • Issue and communicate weekly Master Production Schedules to Production teams through MPS meetings to align with plant SIOP and customer demand.
  • Coordinate execution of daily and weekly production plans while maintaining on-time customer delivery performance.

Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
  • Prepare, issue, and share monthly Sales, Inventory and Operations Plans.
  • Coordinate and execute site SIOP activities.
  • Monitor plan execution and implement changes as needed to ensure SIOP targets are achieved.
  • Support crisis management activities related to internal operations or external supplier and customer issues.

New Product Introduction and Production Transfers
  • Support new product introductions and coordinate activities with site supply chain teams.
  • Provide planning support for major production transfers and new application introductions into serial production.
  • Plan production and raw material requirements associated with equipment transfers and safety stock strategies.

Finished Goods Inventory Management
  • Execute finished goods inventory management processes to maximize customer satisfaction while aligning with strategic business initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to cost containment objectives, On-Time-to-Request (OTTR) performance, and approved customer service levels.
  • Verify and maintain finished goods safety stock levels required to achieve desired service performance.
  • Determine finished goods inventory levels using analytical tools.

Reporting and Analysis
  • Analyze daily deliveries, delivery performance (OTTR), production achievements, finished goods inventory levels, and issue resolution progress.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly planning and scheduling reports that include schedule adherence, OTTR performance, and customer logistics performance metrics.
  • Monitor and report key supply chain and planning performance indicators.

Continuous Improvement and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Follow established standards and guidelines while identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and address top performance offenders.
  • Support GEM deployment and business process excellence initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support all plant activities related to IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planners, Customer Desks, Vendor Schedulers, and Plant Warehouse teams to align production and shipment plans with customer demand.
  • Ensure adherence to standard supply planning processes, PIPO, and NPI processes to achieve functional KPIs.
  • Actively participate in weekly demand planning and SIOP meetings and complete assigned deliverables.
  • Follow all work rules and internal Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) guidelines.

Required Education
  • Post Graduate and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in supply planning, production planning and control, and supply chain management.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred (OEM or Tier-I).

Required Skills and Knowledge
Technical Skills
  • English proficiency required.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of statistics, production planning processes, internal capacity planning, and Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP tools including o9 and SAP.
  • Experience with demand planning-related software preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent certification.
