Job description

Responsibilities

The Performance Improvement Coordinator assists director with in the coordination, development and implementation of the quality/performance improvement program for Cedar Ridge and Bethany. Coordinates notifications to leadership, data/report receipt, and prepares for Quality/Performance Improvement meetings and other meetings. Takes meeting minutes as assigned.  Provides educational support to all facility departments with regard to quality improvement, accreditation standards and other regulatory standards. Prepares and participates in routine and regulatory chart audits.  Assists director in monitoring regulatory compliance on an ongoing basis, maintaining a constant state of readiness for regulatory audits.  Assists with risk management functions as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • One to Two years of experience in healthcare performance improvement and/or healthcare administrative coordinator experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, healthcare or other related field required
    •  Relevant experience in direct healthcare performance improvement experience maybe considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency required
