We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our Operations Team in New Jersey!
This skilled Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our LAN/WAN environment across multiple office locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, configure, and manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Implement and maintain SD-WAN solutions connecting branch offices to corporate data centers and cloud environments
  • Manage firewall policies and VPN configurations (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) in accordance with security best practices
  • Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and SNMP-based platforms
  • Perform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades to support business growth
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues including routing (BGP/OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP), and wireless connectivity
  • Implement network access control (802.1X) and segmentation strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams and IP address management
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours network incidents
  • Collaborate with security and systems engineering teams on cross-functional projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and at least one enterprise firewall platform
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, LACP)
  • Cisco CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification
  • Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE certification
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet)
  • Python or Ansible scripting for network automation
  • Experience with Zero Trust Network Architecture
