Job description

This position offers a base salary range of $61,843 - $108,497per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.

This role supports routing and switching in a Cisco networking environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on Cisco experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a primarily remote setting. CCNA certification is preferred.
OVERVIEW
Provides advanced level LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Voice design, administration, change planning, integration, and troubleshooting capabilities. Takes ideas from planning, through development, enlisting help for planning and deployment of communication solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Initial and escalation resource for issues / situations within the Network Operations team.
2. Perform in-depth operational, troubleshooting, and administrative duties for a diverse portfolio of network and communication technologies. These duties include device configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
3. Provide technical advice to less experienced Network Operations personnel
4. Administer in-depth level phone system and video conference system configurations and functions.
5. Provision in-depth level telecommunication circuits through vendor interaction and device communication.
6. Assist with complex design tasks, architecture changes, and resource capacity issues for major information communication technology systems.
7. Actively participate in the development of Standard Operating Procedure documentation for the Network Operations team.
8. Work closely with more senior members of the Network Operations team.
9. Provide evening and weekend system support as needed. Sheetz is open 24/7/365 and as such, our internal and external customers may require our system support at any time.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering; or is preferred

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in a technology environment required.

Licenses/Certifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is preferred.
