Job Title Network Operations Analyst

Job Location: Bessemer, AL

Job Type: Contract (18 months)

Rate: Negotiable

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years network operations experience.
  • Tracking inventory, installs, and decommissions during major technology refresh project.
  • Interfacing with data center inventory management system and corporate asset management team to insure accuracy of both systems as equipment changes are made.
  • Scheduling equipment shipping and receiving, and oversight of change management, access security, and related management policies.
  • Performs second level diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for intermediate to complex data or voice communication network issues.
  • Recommends, costs and implements network solutions to support business needs and solve customer problems.
  • Orders, tests, certifies, installs and configures new and upgraded network hardware and software.
  • Coordinates and implements move/add/change service requests. Responds to break/fix issues, escalating to and managing or coordinating vendors as needed.
