Position Summary

The Senior Network Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing transportation and food service for all InspireNOLA schools. This position is supervised by the Executive Director of Site Services. The Senior Network Operations Specialist must support School Leaderโ€™s on a daily basis, and will also collaborate with the Executive Director of Site Services to provide support with transportation, food service and other functions within schools.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Personnel Management

ยท Continuously develop and retain members of each school support team, with an emphasis on developing skill in problem-solving and strategic planning.

Transportation Services Management

ยท Maintains all transportation compliance documentation for schools;

ยท Manages school bus routes and rosters, increasing efficiency and ensuring accurate data from all transportation systems;

ยท Manages routine communication with transportation service provider(s), troubleshooting issues with buses or riders on a daily basis, and ensuring appropriate quality and timeliness.

Food Service Management

ยท Manages routine communication with food services, ensuring appropriate quality and timeliness, supporting compliance and troubleshooting issues;

ยท Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment as directed by the Executive Director of Site Services.

Position Qualifications & Competencies

ยท Belief in the mission and values of InspireNOLA;

ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree (required);

ยท Minimum of three years of experience overseeing facilities or operations in a high-performing school, within a charter network or a business;

ยท Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage projects at multiple locations;

ยท Comfort defining and upholding high expectations, including delivering and receiving constructive feedback;

ยท Has a working knowledge of all applicable OSHA, EPA, and Louisiana School Code regulations applicable to facilities and maintenance.
