Description

We're glad you found us.

Athena Care has been offering high quality, accessible mental health care for over twenty years. If there's one thing we've learned, it's that great care starts with great team members who actually feel supported. We're an insurance-based practice growing across Tennessee, and we're looking for an Operations Project Manager to join our team and help us help others!

We offer psychological testing, IOP/PHP, Spravato/IM Ketamine, TMS, psychotherapy, group therapy, and general psychiatry- often all under one roof. Our patients receive genuinely comprehensive care, and you get unique and interesting colleagues.

Who we're looking for

Someone who loves to find solutions to problems and push projects across the finish line. You are a planner, an information gatherer, and a systems guru who can work across teams to understand the ask and involve the right people to obtain the answer. You love to find efficiencies and strive to see the big picture so that you can help us identify and integrate the tools, technology, and resources that make our team thrive.

What it's like to work here

We've worked hard to combine rigor and high-quality care with a fun and friendly work culture. Our support team aims to take care of operations so that providers can stay focused on their patients. You get access to great tools, resources, and expertise to do your job well. At Athena Care we strive to offer the ideal balance of a small group practice feel on the ground with strong business expertise and technology behind the scenes

Your day-to-day role

  • Lead end-to-end project management for operational initiatives including system implementations, process redesigns, technology upgrades, and workflow improvements
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project management plans from inception to execution; you may have multiple concurrent projects and will work cross-functionally to push the project to completion
  • Serve as owner and subject matter expert for core systems, maintaining documentation and SOPs, monitoring performance, and ensuring continuous improvement
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to support our growth and scaleability

Requirements

What we're looking for on paper

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of project management experience required; experience within a healthcare or behavioral health setting strongly preferred
  • Experience with EHR systems, phone and telecommunications systems management preferred
  • A strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and effectively manage complex systems
  • HIPAA-savvy and comfortable in mental healthcare; understanding of healthcare privacy regulations and their application to both systems and workflows

Benefits include: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance and 401(k) with employer match
