Job description

Summary:

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of new card programs and setups as they relate to card networks across various stakeholders including external (card networks and Processors) and internal (accounting and implementation).

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: None.

Experience: Three to five years of related card network experience and knowledge of card network regulations. Demonstrated experience in card network program implementation. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Functions:

A: Job Specific:

  • Responsible for all activities involved with requesting a new ICA/BIN including setup and certification.
  • Responsible for all activities involved in the termination of a card program including returning the ICA/BIN.
  • Responsible for all activities involved with an ICA/BIN transfer from another BIN sponsor bank.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for the implementation of new ICA/BIN projects and/or other ICA/BIN related activities requiring support.
  • Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for the day-to-day direction of updates to internal teams; Account Managers, Implementation, Compliance and Legal, regarding BIN implementation and maintenance.
  • Ensures the appropriate network and account set-up for new card programs. Enforces processes, implementation consistency and compliance with network guidelines with internal departments and Partners.
  • Creates and manages the network tasks in new card program plans/timelines to accomplish implementation project goals.
  • Supports the Sutton Bank Payments team as the card network professional for meeting network reporting and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinates compromised card reporting with Program Managers.
  • Maintains updated and current listing of all Sutton BINs in each network with each Processor.
  • Assists with performing quarterly reporting for all card networks to determine assessment.
  • Assists with reviewing monthly invoices to determine Partner billing.
  • Ensures card Programs are compliant with card network brand and rules standards.
  • Administers network portals, provisions internal staff and Program Managers (Visa Online, MasterCard, MC Connect, Discover Issuer Portal, and Pin Networks).
  • Routes network communications to Program Managers when necessary.
  • Updates Program Managers and Processors on new network rules and alerts.
  • Registers Program Managers per network requirements.
  • Supports the standard network reporting and maintenance requirements of existing card programs.
