Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to Bioscience and Blood Culture Operations leadership, providing strategic guidance to drive operational and financial performance across the manufacturing network.
  • Lead the annual operating plan, long-range planning process, standard cost roll, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlook updates across all Bioscience and Blood Culture manufacturing sites.
  • Deliver monthly financial results and business insights to Operations and Global Manufacturing leadership, including analysis of production performance, manufacturing variances, inventory, capital spending, productivity initiatives, and cost-saving programs.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of six Plant Controllers, establishing clear priorities, fostering talent development, and ensuring consistent execution of financial planning, reporting, and control activities.
  • Partner with site leadership to identify performance improvement opportunities, evaluate operational risks, and develop financial models that support productivity and profitability objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership for key manufacturing and supply chain initiatives, including network optimization, product transfers, automation investments, capacity expansion, restructuring activities, and capital investment decisions.
  • Drive accountability for manufacturing cost performance through detailed analysis of labor, material, overhead, yield, scrap, and inventory metrics.
  • Lead working capital and inventory optimization efforts across the sub-cluster, improving cash flow while supporting operational and customer requirements.
  • Establish and standardize financial processes, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and best practices across the manufacturing network.
  • Oversee internal and external audit activities, ensure SOX compliance, and maintain a strong internal control environment across all manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Operations Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Global Operations teams to align financial priorities and execute enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Support executive-level reviews by developing financial analyses, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Travel to manufacturing sites to support business reviews, strategic planning sessions, audits, operational assessments, and leadership engagement activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Operations Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Accounting, or related finance functions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior business leaders within a complex global matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making through data-driven analysis and executive-level presentations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence without authority, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, process optimization, and organizational development.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require (approximately 10-20%).
