Position Summary... What you'll do...The Senior Network Engineer designs, deploys, automates, and supports the enterprise networking technologies powering Walmart's largest events, collaboration environments, and digital workplace experiences. This engineer combines deep technical expertise with operational excellence, delivering highly available wired and wireless infrastructure supporting thousands of concurrent users across temporary and permanent enterprise environments. This role serves as one of the organization's principal technical experts, partnering across networking, security, software engineering, collaboration technology, and operations to build scalable, repeatable networking platforms.

MEETS is responsible for designing, engineering, deploying, and operating the technology infrastructure that powers Walmart's largest enterprise events, executive experiences, conferences, training sessions, and collaboration spaces. The team delivers highly reliable wired and wireless networking, collaboration technologies, event infrastructure, broadcast connectivity, point-of-sale networking, AV technologies, and temporary enterprise environments supporting tens of thousands of associates annually. Beyond events, the organization partners closely with Room & Collaboration Technology, Enterprise Networking, Software Engineering, Digital Campus, Tech Support, and Enterprise Infrastructure teams to build the next generation of intelligent workplace experiences.   What you'll do: Network Architecture & Engineering
  • Design enterprise networking solutions and resilient network architectures.
  • Deploy and optimize enterprise switching, routing, and large-scale wireless environments.
  • Lead Wi-Fi 7 implementations and support temporary event networking.
Automation & Platform Engineering
  • Develop network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
  • Build monitoring, telemetry, and observability capabilities.
  • Partner with Software Engineering teams to drive automation initiatives.
Operations & Reliability
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and support incident response efforts.
  • Improve deployment standards, scalability, and operational excellence.

Technical Leadership
