Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Pacific Region. The selected candidate will provide advanced engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise LAN, WLAN, and WAN infrastructure supporting mission-critical DoD healthcare environments. This role serves as the regional technical lead for network operations, security, configuration management, and infrastructure modernization.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.

· Support Cisco network infrastructure, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS solutions.

· Serve as the regional technical lead for network operations, configuration management, and network performance.

· Diagnose and resolve complex network issues using SolarWinds Orion, ARMIS, Ansible, and other network management tools.

· Configure and support routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRRP, and RSTP.

· Develop and maintain network standards, documentation, and operational procedures.

· Collaborate with government personnel and technical teams to support secure, highly available network operations.

· Support network security initiatives and Zero Trust architecture implementation.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or technical/vocational education with 10+ years of directly related experience.

· Active Secret Security Clearance.

· DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (or equivalent).

· CISSP (Required).

· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (Required).
