Job description

TS/SCI with FSP required. Most recent poly in the last 7 years required. Location - UTAH Description: The Network Engineers must provide Network Communication services, which the Government will use to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities at two sites and geographic locations. The Contractor must provide Network IT Services to include Systems and Network engineering planning, implementation and validation, technical documentation, and training.  Requirements: Three years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection in addition to related degree or 5 years’ experience in lieu of degree. Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.  Proficient with the following (as specific position requires):     • Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)  • Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.  • Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.  • Able to support on-call requirements.  • Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.  • Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.  • DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
