Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OSS Technical Expert to support, enhance, and evolve our Wireless Element Management Systems (EMS) platforms while driving automation and operational excellence across the network management ecosystem.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, integration, automation, and lifecycle management of Wireless Element Management platforms. This role requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, vendor coordination, and a passion for leveraging automation and AI to improve operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

Wireless Element Management System Platform Management:

  • Administer, support, and optimize platforms.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Lead platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and capacity planning activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and integration issues.
  • Ensure platform evolution.

Network Automation & Orchestration:

  • Design and implement automation solutions to streamline OSS and operational processes.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.
  • Integrate EMS, OSS, inventory, and orchestration platforms across the network ecosystem.
  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated operational practices.

OSS & Network Integration:

  • Support integrations between network management systems, inventory systems, orchestration platforms, and business systems.
  • Contribute to OSS modernization initiatives and architecture evolution.
  • Participate in solution design reviews and technical architecture discussions.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a technical lead and point of contact for vendors.
  • Drive issue resolution, escalations, and technical reviews with external partners.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, architecture, security, and project teams.
  • Ensure vendors meet service expectations, timelines, and quality standards.

AI & Operational Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into daily engineering and operational workflows.
  • Promote AI-driven automation, analytics, incident management, and knowledge management practices.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies applicable to OSS and network operations.

What you bring:

Technical Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in telecommunications, OSS, EMS, network management, or related fields.
  • Strong experience with Wireless EMS.
  • Strong understanding of wireless network technologies including; LTE, 5G, Radio Access Networks (RAN), and Core network concepts
  • Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using one or more of; Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, and REST APIs
  • Experience troubleshooting complex multi-system integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native and virtualization technologies.
