Reports to: Director of Network Engineering
Summary:
Seeking a Senior Network & DNS Engineer to design, implement, and support network infrastructure with a focus on DNS architecture and administration.
Key Skills:
  • BlueCat Address Manager (IPAM)
  • BlueCat DNS/DHCP Services
  • BlueCat Edge DNS
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and support DNS solutions using BlueCat products.
  • Configure and maintain DNS zones, records, policies, and profiles.
  • Monitor and optimize DNS performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve DNS issues and incidents.
  • Ensure DNS security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Document DNS configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage network capacity and infrastructure integration.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective network infrastructure delivery.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to resolve issues and propose solutions.
  • Provide production support as needed.

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • 3+ years of DNS administration and engineering experience.
  • 2+ years working with BlueCat DNS products.
  • Experience in high-paced environments supporting real-time data and trading.
  • Relevant certifications or training preferred.
  • Basic Linux and Windows administration knowledge.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • BlueCat DNS certifications are a plus.
